PEOPLE BEHIND THE MISSION

Rev. Benjamin and Magdalene Komanapalli
(Directors)

Rev. Benjamin Komanapalli, the  Founder/President of MFI was born in a humble family and at the age of seven, he received Jesus Christ in his life.  At the age of 17 he responded to the call of God and started ministry among the youth.

Rev. Benjamin Komanapalli has been involved in Christian Ministry since 1973.   Without any formal theological education, with a burden for souls, he started a youth ministry.  Within three years, the youth ministry started to reach the unreached people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and began to plant churches in rural areas and among the tribal people.

After this he took a brief time off from the ministry to take Theological training at the Faith School of Theology, USA.  He started Mission For The Interior as an evangelistic and charitable missionary organization to reach the unreached people with the Gospel, to train the Nationals to reach the unreached and to care for destitute orphans and widows.

By virtue of over 20 years experience of proven ministry in evangelism, church planting, training the nationals, conducting conferences and crusades along with charity work, Rev. Benjamin Komanapalli enjoys a very high degree of credibility and access to Church leaders across all denominations and independent groups.

In December 1983, he married Magdalene and they have two boys, Benjamin Jr. and Reinhard. He directs the work of Mission For The Interior from his headquarters based at Hyderabad, India. His wife Magdalene assists him in the administration of the ministry.

THE MESSAGE
Benjamin Komanapalli has a clear cut, simple Gospel message along with strong emphasis on foundational spiritual truths, which would enhance the quality of Christian life.  One of his desires is to see the Indian Church becoming a 'giving church' and a 'sending church' for the Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  His long experience of over 20 years of successful conference and crusade ministry makes it possible for him to have a very high degree of credibility and access among the denominational churches and independent groups who are open to his ministry nation wide.  He also travels widely in and outside of India ministering in churches, crusades and seminars.
